to compile this program, in this directory simply type:  
> make
to install it,a become root and manually copy the executable msxtar to
a directory in your general path fi. /usr/local/bin :
> su
# cp msxtar /usr/local/bin
set the correct execute permissions for it:
# chmod a+xr-w /usr/local/bin/msxtar
